Impact Giveaways Terms of use

By creating or submitting a campaign on the Impact Giveaways platform, you agree to the following terms and conditions.


1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use govern the creation and operation of campaigns on the Impact Giveaways platform. By starting a campaign, you (“Campaign Owner”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.


2. Purpose of the Platform

Impact Giveaways is an awareness platform designed to help individuals, charities, non-profits, community groups, and businesses create positive awareness campaigns through free-to-enter giveaways.

All campaigns must:

  • Promote awareness of a genuine cause, initiative, or message
  • Be ethical and socially responsible
  • Encourage positive engagement
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

3. Eligibility to Create a Campaign

Anyone may create a campaign provided that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the authority to represent the cause or organisation (where applicable)
  • The campaign content is truthful and not misleading
  • The campaign complies with these Terms of Use

Impact Giveaways reserves the right to reject or remove any campaign at its sole discretion.


4. Campaign Content Rules

As the Campaign Owner, you agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate and not deceptive
  • You have the right to use any images, logos, or content submitted
  • Your campaign will not contain:
    • Hate speech
    • Discrimination
    • Harassment
    • Political extremism
    • Illegal activities
    • Defamatory content
    • Misleading claims
    • Offensive or inappropriate material

Campaigns may not promote:

  • Gambling
  • Adult content
  • Illegal products or services
  • Financial scams
  • Pyramid schemes

5. Entry Rules

All campaigns on the platform:

  • Are limited to a maximum of 1,000 entries
  • Must be free to enter
  • Require participants to answer a cause-related question
  • Must use the platform’s official entry and winner selection process

Campaign Owners may not manipulate entries or attempt to influence winner selection.


6. Prizes

For standard free campaigns:

  • Impact Giveaways provides a guaranteed R500 prize
  • Prizes are awarded directly by Impact Giveaways
  • Campaign Owners may not promise additional prizes unless part of an approved customised campaign

For customised campaigns:

  • Any additional prizes must be clearly disclosed
  • Prize sponsors must have the legal right to provide the prize

Impact Giveaways is not responsible for third-party prizes offered outside the standard platform prize.


7. Tips and Donations

  • Participants may be invited to leave voluntary tips to support the platform
  • Tips are optional and not a condition of entry
  • Campaign Owners may not pressure participants to tip

Tips are used to help keep the platform free for good causes.


8. Business Campaigns

Businesses may participate in two ways:

  • As Awareness Partners
  • As Customised Campaign Owners

All business campaigns must be clearly identified as such and comply with pricing and sponsorship guidelines provided by Impact Giveaways.


9. Data and Privacy

Campaign Owners agree that:

  • All participant data is managed by Impact Giveaways
  • Personal data may not be downloaded, copied, or used outside the platform
  • You will comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws

Impact Giveaways remains the data controller for all participant information.


10. Platform Rights

Impact Giveaways reserves the right to:

  • Edit or adjust campaign content
  • Refuse, suspend, or remove campaigns
  • Modify campaign questions for clarity
  • Cancel campaigns that breach these terms
  • Limit or restrict access to the platform

11. Prohibited Conduct

Campaign Owners may not:

  • Attempt to manipulate entries
  • Create fake participants
  • Misrepresent a cause
  • Use the platform for spam or mass marketing
  • Harass or mislead participants
  • Use automated systems to generate entries

Any violation may result in immediate campaign cancellation.


12. Liability

  • Impact Giveaways provides the platform “as is”
  • We do not guarantee specific results, reach, or engagement
  • Campaign Owners run campaigns at their own risk
  • Impact Giveaways is not responsible for external actions taken as a result of a campaign

13. Modifications

Impact Giveaways may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.


14. Termination

Impact Giveaways may terminate any campaign or account that:

  • Breaches these terms
  • Damages the reputation of the platform
  • Misuses the system
  • Acts against the spirit of positive awareness
